Kimberly has been a member of the personal injury legal team at Park Chenaur for over a decade. She attended the University of Washington and began working shortly thereafter. She has been an integral component to the firm’s success and maintains a broad range of duties, including communicating with clients, administering intake of new cases, spearheading initial investigations, overseeing case management, monitoring treatment status, and assisting with case file quality control.

Kimberly participates actively in her church and community. She loves to sing and travel and is fluent in English and Korean. She has particularly strong organizational skills and is known around the office for her uncompromising commitment to the client.

Lola Serna

Paralegal

Lola received her paralegal certificate from Knapp Business School in 1986 and has been involved in the legal field ever since. She has exclusively focused on personal injury cases for over 20 years. During that time, Lola has had experience with every type of personal injury case ranging from auto accidents to slip and falls to dog bites and medical malpractice claims. She has been involved in every phase of case management from the case intake to settlement. In addition, she has experience in the court system and has been integral in the successful litigation of our claims. Lola is dedicated and hardworking, she cares about our clients, takes pride in her work, and is a key component to the success of our firm.

Lola enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Gina Kim

Personal Injury Case Manager

Gina is an important member of our personal injury team. Her experience in customer relations and real estate has provided a baseline for her innovative approach to case management. She has helped coordinate office operations and acted as a crucial liaison for the clients with translation needs. She assists with administrative support tasks and is responsible for records management, intake file organization, and ordering medical documentation and investigative records as well.

Mitchel Pinedo

Personal Injury Case Manager

Mitchel has been a case manager with us since 2010. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in the United States, he is fluent in Spanish and English. His cultural background inspires his work; he says, “Some people are not really heard.” Mitchel listens, and he strives to perfect his own communication with clients. He goes to bat for his clients as he negotiates with insurance adjusters. He went through his own motor vehicle accident in 2013, and this first-hand experience renewed his commitment to his work. Mitchel breaks down the language barrier every day, and he is invaluable to our team.

Mitchel now lives in Puyallup, having grown up in the Tacoma area. The youngest of five children in a large, close-knit family, he works alongside his sister Paty in the office. He is active in his community and church, and he volunteers each year at a camp for children and families affected by cancer. He enjoys running and practicing soccer in his spare time.

Malissa Lesh

Senior Legal Assistant

Malissa’s honesty, client commitment, and positive attitude are wonderful attributes that contribute to her outstanding job performance and place in the firm. She has medical records and billing organization down to a science. She is utterly relentless and focused when it comes to helping our clients. She, likewise, has a vast range of duties that include communicating with clients, organizing treatment histories, assisting with litigation exhibit preparation, and calendaring pre-litigation examinations.

She currently has a daughter and a son. Having been born and raised in this area, her ties and roots to the community are strong. She loves to boat, travel, and ride four wheelers in her free time.

Vita Sulzhik

Paralegal

Vita is hardworking, task oriented, and efficient. She assists Lola and is often the direct contact with PIP adjusters, third party insurance adjusters, and medical providers. She takes pride in her work, which results in getting things done.

Vita enjoys photography and spending time outdoors.

Michael Lis-Sette

Paralegal

Michael provides support to Kimberly Yoon. He is meticulous, thorough, and responsive to client needs. He received his Bachelor of Arts in journalism with cum laude honors from Seattle University, and went on to earn an advanced paralegal certificate. His work at the KOMO and KIRO news stations honed his writing skills, which today translates into effective and persuasive communication with insurance adjusters and claim handlers.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys reading, working out at the gym, and cooking foods of all types.

Paty Pinedo

Paralegal

Paty joined us as a paralegal in 2016 after more than sixteen years in Spanish-language radio. She moved to the United States from Guadalajara, Mexico, at fourteen. She says, “I enjoy the results I see for my clients,” a passionate advocate for the Spanish-speaking community. Where insurance companies may try to take advantage of individuals based on their background or language, Paty steps in. She communicates directly with insurance adjusters to track bills and payments, facilitate settlements, and organize clients’ records. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their claims and move on with their lives; she educates people about their rights every day. Paty takes great pride in her work.

Paty loves sports — following soccer, football, basketball, and more — though for herself she most enjoys snowboarding and riding horses. She also reads other legal cases in her free time, especially moved by those working hard in the field of immigration law. She lives in Tacoma.

J. Taylor Kindred

Paralegal

Taylor joined us in 2018 as paralegal to litigation attorney Dave Mann. He brings eighteen years’ experience to our firm, having earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Highline College in 1999. He first worked in Seattle as a claims administrator for plaintiffs’ counsel in the representation of commercial fishermen and Alaska Natives impacted by the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill of 1989. After many years in Yakima as an investigator and paralegal, Taylor went on to found his own business as a licensed private investigator and process server. His experience with both sides of personal injury litigation — as well as diligence and kindness in all his work — make Taylor a tremendous resource for our clients, attorneys, and staff.

In his spare time, Taylor plays the guitar and writes music. He studies Shudokan Karate and has obtained his first-degree black belt. He takes pride in working hard for those who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents and claims of medical malpractice.

Christina Pham

Legal Assistant

Christina first joined us as a legal assistant in 2017, working with Sonny Nguyen while he was still a case manager. Since then, Sonny has obtained his law degree and Christina has proved herself as indispensable to our office. Christina’s positive attitude, energetic approach, and fluency in Vietnamese allow her to communicate capably and comfortably with clients, providers, and adjusters. These interpersonal connections make for her favorite part of her work.

Outside the office, Christina is very committed to weight training. She describes herself as a “waterfall chaser,” particularly keen on the state of Oregon; she is an avid hiker and loves spending time outdoors. She also enjoys reading nonfiction and hopes to join the field of personal injury as an attorney one day. She lives in Tacoma.

Estephany Vazquez

Office Administrator

Estephany moved to Washington from California in 2017. She joined us in early 2018 after studying communications and psychology in Los Angeles. Steph keeps our office running efficiently through excellent time management and careful organization. She loves interacting with clients and coworkers alike, and she brings a great optimism to work each day. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, her energy and compassion make a real difference. No newcomer to the legal field, Steph has also interned in immigration and pharmaceutical law offices.

Outside of work, Steph is a competitive dancer, and she has practiced now for twenty years. She loves to travel and will soon reach her goal to visit all fifty of the United States. She intends to continue her education and pursue a career within the law. Steph lives with her husband in Kent.

Kayla Dizon

Legal Assistant

As legal assistant to Gina Kim, Kayla ensures that our clients’ cases are accurate, organized, and complete. She directly communicates with insurance companies and medical providers to secure the records, bills, and documents crucial to our work. She enjoys helping achieve efficient and successful results.

Kayla is originally from Southern California, though she has lived most of her life in Tacoma. She is a passionate video-game player. She also appreciates live music, a good film, a good hike, and occasionally bouldering.
