Kimberly has been a member of the personal injury legal team at Park Chenaur for over 21 years. She attended the University of Washington and began working shortly thereafter. She has been an integral component of the firm’s success and maintains a broad range of duties, including communicating with clients, administering intake of new cases, spearheading initial investigations, overseeing case management, monitoring treatment status, and assisting with case file quality control.
Kimberly participates actively in her church and community. She loves to sing and travel and is fluent in English and Korean. She has particularly strong organizational skills and is known around the office for her uncompromising commitment to the client.
Lola received her paralegal certificate from Knapp Business School in 1986 and has been involved in the legal field ever since. She has exclusively focused on personal injury cases for over 20 years. During that time, Lola has had experience with every type of personal injury case ranging from auto accidents to slip and falls to dog bites and medical malpractice claims. She has been involved in every phase of case management from the case intake to settlement. In addition, she has experience in the court system and has been integral in the successful litigation of our claims. Lola is dedicated and hardworking, she cares about our clients, takes pride in her work, and is a key component to the success of our firm.

Personal Injury Case Manager
Gina is an important member of our personal injury team. Her experience in customer relations and real estate has provided a baseline for her innovative approach to case management. She has helped coordinate office operations and acted as a crucial liaison for the clients with translation needs. She assists with administrative support tasks and is responsible for records management, intake file organization, and ordering medical documentation and investigative records as well.
Personal Injury Case Manager
Mitchel has been a case manager with us since 2010. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in the United States, he is fluent in Spanish and English. His cultural background inspires his work; he says, “Some people are not really heard.” Mitchel listens, and he strives to perfect his own communication with clients. He goes to bat for his clients as he negotiates with insurance adjusters. He went through his own motor vehicle accident in 2013, and this first-hand experience renewed his commitment to his work. Mitchel breaks down the language barrier every day, and he is invaluable to our team.
Mitchel now lives in Puyallup, having grown up in the Tacoma area. The youngest of five children in a large, close-knit family, he works alongside his sister Paty in the office. He is active in his community and church, and he volunteers each year at a camp for children and families affected by cancer. He enjoys running and practicing soccer in his spare time.
Senior Legal Assistant
Malissa’s honesty, client commitment, and positive attitude are wonderful attributes that contribute to her outstanding job performance and place in the firm. She has medical records and billing organization down to a science. She is utterly relentless and focused when it comes to helping our clients. She, likewise, has a vast range of duties that include communicating with clients, organizing treatment histories, assisting with litigation exhibit preparation, and calendaring pre-litigation examinations.
She currently has a daughter and a son. Having been born and raised in this area, her ties and roots to the community are strong. She loves to boat, travel, and ride four-wheelers in her free time.
Paty joined us as a paralegal in 2016 after more than sixteen years in Spanish-language radio. She moved to the United States from Guadalajara, Mexico, at fourteen. She says, “I enjoy the results I see for my clients,” a passionate advocate for the Spanish-speaking community. Where insurance companies may try to take advantage of individuals based on their background or language, Paty steps in. She communicates directly with insurance adjusters to track bills and payments, facilitate settlements, and organize clients’ records. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their claims and move on with their lives; she educates people about their rights every day. Paty takes great pride in her work.
Paty loves sports — following soccer, football, basketball, and more — though for herself she most enjoys snowboarding and riding horses. She also reads other legal cases in her free time, especially moved by those working hard in the field of immigration law. She lives in Tacoma.
J. Taylor Kindred
Taylor joined us in 2018 as a paralegal to litigation attorney Mick Pusztai. He brings eighteen years’ experience to our firm, having earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Highline College in 1999. He first worked in Seattle as a claims administrator for plaintiffs’ counsel in the representation of commercial fishermen and Alaska Natives impacted by the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill of 1989. After many years in Yakima as an investigator and paralegal, Taylor went on to found his own business as a licensed private investigator and process server. His experience with both sides of personal injury litigation — as well as diligence and kindness in all his work — make Taylor a tremendous resource for our clients, attorneys, and staff.
In his spare time, Taylor plays the guitar and writes music. He studies Shudokan Karate and has obtained his first-degree black belt. He takes pride in working hard for those who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents and claims of medical malpractice.
Talia joined Park Chenaur & Associates in 2019. Soon after, she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies from Highline College. Talia was born and raised in Washington. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, hiking, and spending time with friends.
Bryan was born and raised in Vietnam. He graduated from Seattle University and is currently working and living in the US. Bryan joined Park Chenaur as a legal assistant to attorney Sonny Nguyen in May 2019. His fluency in Vietnamese has helped create a solid bridge for our clients. Bryan is highly organized and dedicated. He is passionate about helping individuals, especially when there is a language barrier that might lead to injustice.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys reading nonfiction and working out. In his free time, Bryan also enjoys watching movies, hiking with friends, and practicing piano.
Tatyana joined the Park Chenaur team in 2019. For most of her life, she has lived in Tacoma where she graduated from Tacoma Community College and the University of Washington. Shelby graduated with an Associate of Applied Business in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Gateway Community College and is currently working on her Bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies.
She joined our team in 2020 as the Legal Assistant to Kimberly Yoon. When working on a case, it is her goal to get clients the best possible outcome with the least amount of stress for the client. She says, “The only thing I want the client to focus on is their treatment and healing, we can handle the rest.”
When not at work, you may find Shelby hanging out with her two basset hounds, listening to her favorite music, or trying out a new restaurant with her friends. She also enjoys reading, writing, singing, and advocating for human rights.
Litigation Legal Assistant
Alexis joined Park Chenaur in 2020 as the Litigation Legal Assistant to Andrew Kim. She takes care of scheduling, answering discovery, providing administrative support, and whatever else is necessary to help the cases. She always gives 110% to ensure that clients get the best results possible. Her favorite part about working at Park Chenaur is being able to help people within her local community.
Before joining the firm, Alexis attended Central Washington University, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy. She went on to join the paralegal program at Tacoma Community College, graduating with a paralegal certificate in 2020.
Outside of work, you may find Alexis exploring a new vegan restaurant in town with her boyfriend, trying out a vegan recipe in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, enjoying a concert or festival, camping, or spending time with family and friends.
Vita started working at Park Chenaur and Associates in November of 2012 and has been a huge asset to the team. For years, she was the firm’s primary Litigation Paralegal. She has taken on a variety of responsibilities from doing client intakes and sign-ups to conducting third-party negotiations, settlements, filing, arbitration, mediation, jury and bench trials, and helping with Medical Malpractice claims. She is currently a Paralegal for Liandra Tiller, handling health insurance, liens, and provider communications and negotiations.
Vita is skilled at finding unique solutions to complex problems and turning chaos into order. Her goals when working on a case are to keep her clients happy and give them the best possible outcome within her control.
Michael grew up on the east side of Lake Washington, where he continues to live to this day. He graduated from Seattle University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and then went on to complete his Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College.
Michael joined Park Chenaur & Associates in 2013 and works as a Paralegal for Mitchel Pinedo’s team. While working on a case, Michael aims to make sure everything is as easy for the client as possible as their claim moves forward. He really appreciates the fact that his team focuses on getting the best results possible for their clients.
When not at work, you may find Michael spending time with his dog outdoors; cooking up something amazing in the kitchen; or staying in Cannon Beach, Oregon, or London, England. As he puts it, Cannon Beach is “the most boring place on Earth, and my absolute favorite place to be.” He also enjoys reading, writing, and traveling to new places.
Born and raised in Vietnam, Elise immigrated to the United States as a refugee. She speaks and writes both Vietnamese and English fluently. Her experience as a refugee has given her a strong desire to advocate for justice and protect people within her community.
